History 

Smart Soccer International Inc. was founded in the fall of 1987 with the intention of becoming a corporation that would serve as a professional soccer resource for youth soccer programs in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The corporation was founded by Neil M. Smart, who settled in Eastern Pennsylvania with his wife Bonnie, in June of 1987. Neil was moving permanently to the area from his hometown of Barrow-in-Furness in the scenic North West of England.

Drawing on a lifetime experience of playing, coaching and teaching Neil has spent the past 18 years at the helm of the "Smart Soccer" program, nurturing professional soccer partnerships with many different clubs and communities. The past 18 years has been marked with a deliberate policy of modest growth and personalized service.

The result of this policy has been that the "Smart Soccer" program has earned a reputation for excellence in the arena of professional soccer training. It is Neil's hope, and belief, that the program can continue to serve the training needs of the soccer community for many years to come.
